ECSGA Conference Subsidy

The ECSGA offers funds to offset the cost of ENCS Graduate Students either presenting papers/ posters related to their fields of study at a conference or a workshop. Research costs will not be considered.

Who Qualifies?

 In order to qualify for a conference subsidy a student must be registered in a graduate program in Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Concordia.

How to apply?

Complete the Application Form

Submit the original receipts along with your application at ECSGA office (S-EV001.166).

Submit the application during the office hour (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:00PM – 5:00PM) or make an appointment by E-mail.

A student should submit the application only after attending the conference which must be held within last three months from the date of the application.


Applications are processed once per semester according to the following schedule:

Applications Received May 1 – August 31: Processed second week of September

Applications Received September 1 – December 31: Processed second week of January

Applications Received January 1 – April 30: Processed second week of May


Funding will range between $100 and $500 (depending on available funding)

Students will be able to avail this service only once per year to provide equal opportunity to all graduate students.
